Over the years, MotoPhoto has been photographing many of the Simsbury town sports leagues and many Simsbury families are long time customers of our store. As a local provider of photographic services to many families we have an increased responsibility to satisfy both the SHS staff and families. We hope that you love your portraits and then visit us for all your photographic needs.

August 23rd 8:00-5:00pm Forms and Photo Day
August 28th 3:00-5:00 Makeup Forms and Photo Day
9-12 Grade Yearbook Photos:
September 8th 7:00-2:30 Makeup Photo Day
October 6th 7:00-2:30 Picture Retake day
Ordering School Photos
Prepay with Order form
School picture order forms have been mailed out from the school. However, if the envelope did not make it home, you may print a copy a copy of the order form here. Place the order form in an envelope with your payment. Write the student’s name, grade and teacher on the front of the envelope. Send the envelope to school with your student on picture day.
To prepay for your package online, click here to place your order online. It is easy, secure and green. If you choose to pay for your online order by cash or check be sure to place a copy of your online order in an envelope with your payment. Write the student’s name and grade on the front of the envelope. Send the envelope to school with your student on picture day. If you pay with credit card then you are all set- no need to print anything!
If you did not order on picture day, or you would like to order additional pictures, you may do so at our secure web store. The pictures are posted online about 3 weeks after picture day. You will need your student’s ID (password) to access the pictures. This information will be provided on the proof form, which is sent home through the school. Note: Prices are higher than prepaid orders
Plan your child’s haircut for about one week before Picture Day.
Choose a hairstyle similar to how your child is normally groomed
For older teens, send hair and makeup supplies with your child for quick touch-ups
Limit over-exposure to the sun for a few days before Picture Day
Choose solid colors or simple clothing patterns
Don’t select off-the-shoulder or spaghetti strapped blouses
Avoid shirts with slogans
Select small accessories that do not detract, such as simple earrings, pins and necklaces
Have your child practice relaxing and smiling in front of your camera
Have your child get enough sleep on the night before Picture Day
Don’t discourage your child from taking a School Picture even if you are not planning to order photos. Your school uses these pictures for identification purposes. For more help on what to wear check out our Dress Guide
