Lab & Store Questions

Where are you located & what are your hours?

We are located on Route 44 at 11 E. Main Street in Avon between Da Capo Restaurant and Subway. Our building is the home of Avon MotoPhoto and FastSigns. Hours vary by day, we are closed on Sunday’s. Take a peak at our Hours & Location page for more details.

“Is Bill Here?”

Bill is our Lab Manager and is here most days of the week. He has great customer service, and will try to do anything for our customers. Occasionally you can even find Bill here on his day off!  Even if Bill is not here, the rest of the staff does not bite, we promise!

What are your typical turn around times?

Will I get a call when my order is ready?

In most cases we will tell you when your order will be ready when you drop it off. In special cases we will give you an estimated time, and then we will call you as soon as it is done. If you order online, you will receive an 2 e-mails when you submit your order (1 confirmation, 1 “wait don’t get in your car yet”), and another when your order is ready for pick-up.

Can I print pictures Same-Day?

Yes! We offer a Same-Day service (With-in 2 hours) and a next day service in-store. We also offer online ordering which can be done from your computer, tablet, or phone, now with a Same-Day option!

How can I upload my pictures?

Click Here to go to our ordering website where you can easily upload and print your pictures. Select “Sign-In” at the top of the page and begin uploading your pictures! If you would rather do this at our store, come in and we can help you learn how to upload your photos to our easy-to-use Kiosk.

If I need help placing an order, will someone be available to help me?

Always! Our team knows whats going on and we’re here to help you. From simple orders like printing pictures from your phone, to complex orders like photo-books and gifting items, our team is happy to help! We offer help in-store and over the phone during our business hours.

Do you take passport photos?

Yes! We take U.S. passports and a variety of foreign passports, no appointment necessary. For more details, check out our passport page.

Do you still develop & sell 35 mm film?

Yes! We do not process the film in-house anymore but film is sent out twice a week. Once the film is back we print your pictures and give you a call! Turn-around is about 1 week. We sell color and black & white 35 mm film in store. Check our our Film Developing page for more details.

Do you transfer VHS Tapes?

Yes! We transfer VHS, VHSC, Mini DV, High 8, Audio Cassettes, Reel film and more. See our Video & Movies page for more details.

Can you make slideshows?

Yes! We make slideshows for all types of events from weddings & mitzvahs, to celebrations of life. Our design team has had years of experience and will help you create a slideshow that your family and friends will remember for years to come.

Can I have old slides converted into digital images or prints?

Yes! We scan old slides and make them into prints or save them to a CD, USB, or DVD for you. See our Scanning Photographs page for more details!

Portrait Studio Questions

How do I make an appointment to have portraits done?

You can either call us here at the store or you can go online to schedule your appointment with us!

What happens if I get sick and can’t make my portrait appointment?

We understand that life happens, which is why there is no charge for canceling or rescheduling your appointment. We kindly ask that you give us a call and we will be happy to reschedule your appointment for you.

Why can’t I order Senior portraits online?

We do not put senior portraits online because we take more pictures than just the standard yearbook picture. Our packages also change once your student becomes a Senior, giving you more options for purchasing. We want you to thoroughly enjoy your review experience, so we feel that sitting down with a photographer makes it much more personal and helps guide you in your selection. Schedule your free, 30-minute review today!

Can I request a specific photographer?

You can request a photographer for your session, however, sometimes our photographers are requested by multiple appointments and may not always be available. We do the best we can to match your preferred photographer with your appointment.

Should I do anything to get ready for my appointment?

When are you open for portraits?

We are open Monday-Saturday offering appointments starting at 10:00am. Our latest appointments vary by day, so please call or go online for our full scheduling availability.
